In the past few years, the world has experienced trauma, need to use music to heal, when I first established the creative concept of the album, I wanted to use the way of Gather folk music and traveling, in each different environment to create my music. As a series of creation of the first album, "1602" is named after the house where my family and I have lived together in Shanghai for nearly 20 years, because of changes in life, we are about to leave this residence, in the past 20 years is also the most important time in my life light, most of the album was created here, so as to commemorate. The names of the songs come from objects that are used in the house, everywhere, every day.

A lot of the creative process for this album was a combination of improvisation and equipment, where I had to make some trade-offs, and the only thing that mattered to me was whether it was true, not whether it was right. Special thanks to master engineer Mindexxx, who achieved something I wanted, a mono ambient album. The cover of the album is <Wonderland> by the famous UK-born artist Jacky Tsai, who is an internationally renowned Chinese pop artist. In the field of music, Jacky Tsai has also provided works for the cover of the late Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto's 70th birthday album in 2022, and Jay Chou is among his collectors. I met him before he went to study in the UK. I remember one day he told me that if you return to the music field and publish an album, I will help you do the cover of the record. So this is a mutual encouragement and a wish to achieve, thank him.
